This bundle includes the following items:

A. Gränsfors Bruk Splitting Maul (p/n: 450) - Designed for splitting apart large chunks of wood or rounds. It is forged and ground to a concave, quite thin blade at the bit, allowing the maul to cut quickly and easily into the wood and then effectively split it as the broader section pushes it apart. The axe's weight and sturdy poll with bevelled corners make it perfect for striking a wedge. The design is similar to the Larger Splitting Axe, but with a slightly longer poll. The handle has a protective steel collar below the axe head and circular grooves towards the end for an extra firm grip. The Splitting Maul is the heaviest axe produced by Gränsfors Bruk. B. Gränsfors Bruk Ceramic Grinding Stone (p/n: 4034) - A man-made sharpening stone with two grinding faces: a course side (180 grit) for repairing damage and heavy wear, and a fine side (600 grit) for sharpening. The ceramic composite makes the stone both durable and strong. In contrast to natural sandstone, a ceramic grinding stone can be given a more precise grain size. Its shape is round and flat with a bevelled edge to prevent chipping. The fine side is 2/3 of the thickness, as this side is usually used and worn down most. The stone is normally used with water but can be used dry. Diameter: 2.2" (57 mm) Weight: 6.5 oz (160g) Comes in a protective rubber case, which also acts as a convenient holder during grinding/sharpening.

Please note that the Gransfors 20-YEAR guarantee covers only the AXE HEAD against manufacturing defects. Handles are not covered under this guarantee unless it is apparent that there was an internal defect in the wood.
